Mr Fareed was extremely professional but what was impressive to me was his care and compassion which was evident to see. He performed my laparoscopic cholecystectomy a few days ago (gall bladder removal through keyhole surgery) which not only went well but he made me feel like I was the most important person in the world throughout the whole process. This is, in my opinion, is how a patient should truly feel as it can be a daunting time when you are feeling unwell and unsure. Knowing I was being looked after and receiving the best care is what separates the good surgeons from the great ones and I knew I was in great, and safe, hands. Mr Fareed made me feel completely at ease in clinic and on the day of the surgery came to see me to explain everything again ensuring that I clearly understood. It was a pleasure to be looked after by such a talented and kind professional. After the procedure he visited me agin to see how I was and to answer any questions or concerns. This was most reassuring. I cannot thank Mr Fareed enough, for looking after me and making me better, but also for exemplifying the values laid out in the Good Medical Practice framework, I would highly, and without any hesitation, recommend him.

Mr Fareed made me feel relaxed when heading for surgery, he explained everything to me in great detail and made me feel at ease. I felt I was in safe hands and that he understood how I felt knowing I was very nervous at the time. After the surgery Mr Fareed made time to visit me and explained what surgery he had carried out. I was asked if I wanted to ask any questions but he explained everything thoroughly anyway and that the surgery had gone well.

I first met Mr Fareed after being referred via another doctor for problems with Indigestion and Heartburn that was taking over my life to the point of losing my job. He was very attentive, understanding, open and honest from the start. He explained the test ie; Gastroscopy and then afterwards explained the result as he found that I had a large Hiatus Hernia in my lower Oesophagus and as prior to our meeting I had been on medication constantly for years to no avail, surgery was the only option. I took a 24 hour ph test prior to the surgery that confirmed his opinion and I underwent my hernia repair and anti-reflux surgery back in November. I have been made to feel comfortable and at ease by Mr Fareed throughout our contact and am pleased that I have felt a great deal better since the surgery, no more reflux or need for antacid liquid/tablets. I am I feel finally free to get on with my life in better health and will always be grateful to him for his professionalism and expertise.

The care I received from Mr Fareed was excellent. He treated me with respect throughout. He thoroughly explained everything that had happened at what was a frightening and stressful time for me. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team. I can’t thank you enough for caring for me.
